Bank Of Maharashtra SO Exam Syllabus: Bank Of Maharashtra (BoM) is holding an Online Test for selecting 190 Specialist Officers in Scale-I and Scale-II. The bank will announce the date of the exam in due course. You will have to keep visiting the official website of the Bank of Maharashtra for updates and downloading the admit card when ready. Now the registration of the application is on, and the last date to apply for the posts is 19-09-2021.
BoM Exam Pattern/Structure
The Online Test is qualifying in nature. Only those who get the minimum cutoff marks will be called for the next stage of the selection process, which may include Group Discussions/interviews. Accordingly, the number of eligible candidates will be limited at the rate of 1:4 in relation to the vacancy based on their ranking.
The bank has fixed the minimum cutoff marks as 50% for General & EWS candidates and 45% for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD candidates.
It is important for you to prepare well to pass the exam. The exam is expected to be held in October 2021, and there is sufficient time to prepare. Knowing the syllabus beforehand is another advantage. Now, let us see the exam syllabus:

The Online Test will cover only Professional Knowledge (PK). As mentioned earlier, the Test will be qualifying in nature. This means you have to score minimum cutoff marks to be eligible for the Group discussion/Interview. It is 50% or 45% for different categories of the candidates
There are 10 different posts to be filled. Excluding the security Officer Post, we will cover the syllabus for 04 following professions that relate to the remaining posts.

Bank of Maharastra Exam Pattern
The question paper will be objective type with multiple choices. There will be penalties for wrong answers (However, the notification does not specify the details). Normally, 0.25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The question paper will be bilingual, in Hindi & English except for the English language. So, you will have the option to answer the questions in Hindi or English.

Conditions for shortlisting
- You have to score equal to or above the cut-off marks of 50% in the profession Knowledge Test

Only those candidates who score a minimum of 50% marks in the Online Test will be called for the Interview. The number of candidates is expected to be 4 times the number of vacancies based on their ranking.
The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks of the Professional Knowledge test and interview. The weightage of the score will be 60% for Professional Knowledge Test and 40% for the Interview.
