CFTRI Mysuru Recruitment 2021: The Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) Mysuru has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of administrative staff.

The Center is looking for candidates with a pass in 10+2 /PUC and a maximum age of 28 years and proficiency in computer typing. The selection for the posts will be through a written test or / typing /shorthand tests. There are a total of 12 vacancies for these posts with allotments to reserved categories as per government directives.

CFTRI Mysuru is one of the R&D centers under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), engaged in the field of Food Science and Technology. Established in 1950 in Mysuru, Karnataka, it is functioning as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology and Earth Science, Government of India.

It has a diversified laboratory across different portfolios including food engineering, food biotechnology, microbiology, grain sciences, sensory science, Biochemistry, Molecular Nutrition and food safety. The center functions with a 400-strong supporting staff representing scientists, technologists,  and engineers, technicians, skilled workers etc.

• Maximum Age for Junior Secretariat Assistant: 28 years
• Maximum Age for Junior Stenographer: 27 years
• Upper Age relaxation is available to SC and ST (5years), OBC (3years), and PWD (10 years) candidates as per Govt. Directives

Minimum qualification

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen)

• 10+2/XII/PUC
• Proficiency in Computer speed 35wpm in English &30 wpm in Hindi
• This speed corresponds to 10500/9000 KDPH per hour

2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts)

• 10+2/XII/PUC with Accountancy as a subject
• Proficiency in Computer speed 35wpm in English &30 wpm in Hindi
• This speed corresponds to 10500/9000 KDPH per hour

3. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Store & Purchase)

• 10+2/XII/PUC
• Proficiency in Computer speed 35wpm in English &30 wpm in Hindi
• This speed corresponds to 10500/9000 KDPH per hour

4. Junior Stenographer

• 10+2/XII/PUC
• Proficiency in Stenography speed 80 wpm in English and Hindi with transcription of 50mts in English and 65mts in Hindi
• Proficiency in Computer speed 35wpm in English &30 wpm in Hindi
• This speed corresponds to 10500/9000 KDPH per hour

Note

• Qualification should be from a recognised institutions and full time regular course.

Selection Process of CFTRI Mysuru Recruitment 2021

The selection will be based on a Typing/written/Shorthand test as per CSIR rules and directions. There won’t be any correspondence with the candidates in regard to the list of shortlisted candidates, subsequent selection process, etc. All related information will be published on the website. And you need to keep track of it.

The shortlisted candidates for the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen.F&A and S&P) will be allowed for a computer tying speed test. This is a qualifying test. Those who come successful in the computer typing speed test will be allowed to participate in a common written test. The final selection will be on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the written test.

Similar will be the case with the shortlisted candidates for the post of Junior Stenographer. They have to pass the qualifying stenography & computer typing speed test in order to appear for the written test and score well to be selected.

The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 02 years before considered for the confirmed service.
