Coal India Recruitment 2021 Notification: Coal India Limited (CIL) is looking for qualified company secretaries to take senior executive positions in its 08 subsidiary companies in different states. The subsidiaries include BCCL-Dhanbad (Jharkhand), CCL-Ranchi(Jharkhand) CMPDI- Ranchi, ECL-Sanctoria(West Bengal), NCL- Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh), SECL-Bilaspur (Madhya Pradesh), MCLSambalpur (Orissa), and WCL-Nagpur (Maharashtra).

The senior executive positions are in the Grade of E-08 General Manager, E-07 Chief Manager and E-06 Senior Manager.

The company has invited applications from eligible candidates by post before 29-07-2021. And, the selection of candidates for the posts will be through a personal interview. The required qualifications are explained below

Eligibility Details

Age Limit

(As on 30-06-2021)

  • Maximum Age for General Manager: 55years
  • Maximum Age for Chief Manager: 52 years
  • Maximum Age for Senior Manager: 48 years
  • There will be no age limit for employees of CIL and its Subsidiaries
  • Upper age relaxation is allowed to reserved category candidates as per government directives
  • However, the maximum age of the applicant shall not exceed 56 years as on 30-06-2021

Minimum qualification

1. General Manager

  • Graduate Degree in any discipline
  • Acquired Company Secretary Qualification with Associate/Fellow membership of ICSI
  • At least 17 years experience in PSEs/Government Sector OR
  • At least 19 years experience in the private sector
  • Must have worked in a listed company for at least 03 years out of your last 07 years

2. Chief Manager

  • Graduate Degree in any discipline
  • Acquired Company Secretary Qualification with Associate/Fellow membership of ICSI
  • At least 15years experience in PSEs/Government Sector OR
  • At least 17 years experience in the private sector
  • Must have worked in a listed company for at least 03 years out of your last 07 years

3. Senior Manager

  • Graduate Degree in any discipline
  • Acquired Company Secretary Qualification with Associate/Fellow membership of ICSI
  • At least 13 years experience in PSEs/Government Sector OR
  • At least 15 years experience in the private sector

Note:

  • Desired additional qualification: Full-time UG/PG Degree in Law OR Chartered Accountant
  • Candidates from the Private Sector will be eligible to apply only if the organization they are working are having a net worth of Rs.500 crores and recorded an average annual turnover of at least Rs.1,000 crores for the immediate past 03 years.
  • By relevant experience means, the candidate has worked in a Company Secretarial set-up
  • The candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the Companies Act, Rules and Regulations, SCRA, SEBI, Competition Act, FEMA Act, Listing requirements, maintenance of statutory books/ registers/ records/etc., Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  • They must be fully conversant with the procedures and formalities of Public issue/ Right issue/ Bonus issue/ Split/ allotment of shares & certificates thereon/ listing of shares/ dividend payment/monitoring activities of share transfer agents regarding share transfer/ Demat/ etc.
  • All qualifications should be recognized by AICTE/UGC/appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities

Selection Process of Coal India Recruitment 2021

First of all, the applications will be shortlisted on the basis of qualification. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Their names will also be published on the website. Outstation applicants appearing for the interview will be reimbursed to and fro fare by the shortest Route on the production of original tickets/boarding passes.

The final selection will be on the basis of the performance in the interview and qualifications and after the mandatory medical examination. The company will publish the list of selected candidates on the official website.

The selected candidates must be willing to work at any of the CIL offices or subsidiary offices in India.
