NHPC Regional office has invited applications from eligible candidates for the selection of 19 candidates for a 12-months training program. The candidates should be 10th pass with an ITI certificate in COPA, or Plumber or Electrician trades.
The offer is open exclusively to candidates hailing from Himachal Pradesh and the preference will be to the qualified members of families affected by the project, candidates from Chamba district and other districts of HP, in that order
The selection will be purely on merit only and the sole basis will be the marks scored in ITI course and 10th class. The selected candidates will be given a consolidated monthly stipend as permissible under the Apprenticeship Act 1961.
Candidates will not be eligible for any other facilities or benefits. They will have to manage for their stay and transportation during the training period.

Eligibility Criteria
The following are the essential minimum eligibility criteria as of on15.02.2022
Age limits
Upper Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates as per government rules.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maxiumum Age: 28 years
NHPC Apprentice Training Qualification
The minimum educational qualification is given below. Qualifications must be from a govt.-recognized institute- full-time course.
- 10th Class Pass
- ITI Trade Certificate Course
Note :
- The notified Trades are COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), Plumber and Electrician
- Those with higher education, experience or having attended similar trainings need not apply
- Preference will be given to Project Affected Family members, resients of Chamab districts
RCF Apprentice Salary
- The selected candidates will be given a consolidated monthly stipend as per the Apprentice Act 1961 and subsequent amendments
- They will not be eligible for any other allowances or benefits

HP Govt jobs at NHPC Selection Process
Selection will be on the basis of merit only. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in the ITI examination
- First preference will be given to eligible members from the affected Families of Chamera Power Station-I/II–III and Baira Siul Power Station
- Next priority will be for candidates from the Chamba District and then those from other districts of Himachal Pradesh
- There will be shortlisting of candidates based on these information
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview
- Before the final selection, there will be scrutiny of original documents and medical examination
- The company will not give any TA/DA for reporting for the training program.
