Mining Jobs: NTPC has invited applications for the appointment of Mining staff at its various project centers in the states of Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Odisha under the compnay’s coal mining regions.
There are 177 vacancies for the positions of Mining Sirdar (103) and Mining Overman (74).at centers including Pakri Barwadih/PB-NB Badam, Chatti Bariatu/Kerandari, Dulanga and Talaipalli.
All these posts are temporary for period of 03 years only at a fixed monthly salary up to Rs.50,000/-
The company is looking for candidates with Diploma in mining engg/ 10th calsss with work experience of one to five years.
The selection will be through a written test and skill test. The final selection will be based on your performance in the written test and subject to medical fitness and valid documents.

The selected candidates will be paid a fixed monthly salary as per the following scale

Selection Process of Mining Jobs at NTPC
- The selection process will be through a Written Test (Stage-1) and Skill Test (Stage-2)
- Call Letters for the written Test will be sent to all eligible candidates
- Those who qualify the written test will have to appear for the Skill Test
- Skill Test is only qualifying in nature
- The final selection will be based on the marks scored in the Written Test
- Subject to the documnet verification and medical examination, NTPC will issue the offer letters
Exam Pattern, Exam Centers
- For the Writte Test, you will have Multi-choice questions(MCQ)
- The question papers will be in Hindi and English
