New India Assurance Exam Syllabus: According to the advertisement, the selection for the post of Administrative Officer will be based on a written examination and interview. The company plans to conduct the examination in two stages: Preliminary and Main
Candidates satisfying all necessary eligibility criteria as recommended by the Screening
Committee will be invited for the preliminary examination. This is qualifying nature; means,you have to score minimum cutoff marks to be eligible for appearing in the Main examination
New India has given an overview of the syllabus and the examination pattern. We have explained the same in detail in the following paragraphs. This is based on the syllabus and examinations held by the company in the previous years.
The last date for applying online for the posts is 21-09-2021. The company is expected to hold the written tests sometime in October and November. And it will upload the call letters on its website and advise the candidates through SMS and e-mails. You will be required to download the call letters from the website.

New India Exam Pattern/Structure
The purpose of holding a Preliminary exam is to restrict the number of applicants to a reasonable level; (approximately 15 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability).
It is important for you to prepare well to score good marks for each test to qualify. And there is sufficient time to prepare. Now, let us examine the exam syllabus:

Descriptive Test: English Language
- The descriptive test will be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who qualify the objective test
- Qualifying marks in the descriptive test shall be 15/30 for General candidates; 13.5/30 for SC, ST and PwBD candidates
