NLC India Limited was formerly known as Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd. It is classified as a “Navaratna” public sector enterprise engaged in mining lignite & coal and building thermal power stations. It is administered by the Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India.
As per advertisement No: 04/2021, the appointment will be on a Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis for a period of 02years with consolidated pay of Rs.38,000/- per month. You will be posted at the Company’s Mines / Thermal Stations in Neyveli, Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit

- Upper age years: 63 years
Minimum qualification & Working experience
- 10th Class/ SSLC Pass
- Experience: At least 05 years working experience in operating Specialized Mining Equipment of Mines / Thermal stations

- All qualifications must be from Govt. approved Universities/Institutes
Selection Process of NLCIL SME Operator Recruitment 2021
The selection of the candidates will be through a practical test. If there is a large response, the selection committee will shortlist the applications on the basis of qualification and experience.
In such a case, the name of shortlisted candidates will be published on NLCIL’s website. The venue & date for the practical test will also be available in that notification. The message will be conveyed to the selected candidates through SMS and email.
Evaluation of Practical/ Skill test
The practical test /skill test will be for 50 marks, and the minimum qualifying marks for different categories are as follows:

- A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in the Practical test, and the final selection will be as per that list only,subject to verification of documents

Additionally, the Selected candidates are entitled to:
- Provident Fund as per the provisions of applicable Acts / Rules
- Medical facilities as per applicable NLCIL Medical rules
- Medical facilities for persons of 60-63 years are subject to their not availing the facility from the previous employer
- Casual Leave @12 days/year and other kinds of leave as per the company policy
- Unfurnished residential accommodation at nominal rent depending on the place of posting and availability
- House Rent Allowance if not provided with accommodation
