SBI SO Recruitment: State Bank of India, the country’s premier bank needs specialist officers for its various offices for immediate appointments.
There are 15 vacancies mostly in Mumbai offices. However, the selected candidates must be willing to work in any other centres decided by the bank.
The bank is looking for candidates with professional qualifications such as Company Seretary, ICWA, LLB, MBA and experience preferably in banks or large NBFCs. Candidates are expected to have knowledge about compliance with regulations related to RBI, SEBI, Tax Authorities and similar regulatory bodies.
The selection for the posts will be through personal interviews. There will be shortlisting of candidates based on the information furnished in the application. And only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process. The selected candidates will be appointed in Middle Management Grade Scale- on the respective scales and deployed in various offices in Mumbai.
The positions include Chief Manager, Manager and Dy. manager. These are permanent posts carrying industry-standard remuneration and allowances/facilities.
The selection will be through a personal interview. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in the interview, and the appointment will be from this merit list only.

Selection Process of SBI SO Recruitment
- The recruitement will be through personal interviews
- There will be shortlisting of candidates based on the information on the application
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview
- The interview will carry 100 marks
- The minmum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank
- A mert list will be drawn on the basis of the marks scored in the interview
- The selection will be made from this merit list only
- Appointment is subject to the medical fitness of the selected candidate as per the Bank’s requirements
