About UCIL Jharkhand

The Uranium Corporation of India (UCIL) was incorporated in 1967 under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India for the purpose of mining and processing of uranium.

The corporation has various underground and open mines in Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh. Currently, UCIL is in an expansionary phase with increased pre-project activities to set up new mines and plants in different parts of the country.
