UPSC Deputy Director Recruitment 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the appointment of 45 officers in various central government organizations on a direct recruitment basis.

The selection for the posts will be through a personal interview. There will be no written test.

The positions include Deputy Director Mine Safety, Assistant Editor (Telugu), Photographic Officer, Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology), Technical Officer (Public Health Engineering), Driller-in-Charge, Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics), System Analyst and Senior Lecturer (General Medicine/ General Surgery/Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases) in various govt organizations

And the organizations include the Directorate General of Mines Safety, Central Reference Library, Directorate of Public Relations, Ministry of Defence, Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Central Ground Water Board, Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships, Union Public Service Commission and Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh.

There will be shortlisting of candidates based on the information provided in the application. Call letters for the interview will be issued only to shortlisted candidates. And the final selection will be based on your performance in the interview, and subject to the verification of documents and medical examination.

Educational Qualification

  • You must have the following essential qualification/ experience to apply for the post

1. Deputy Director

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering- OR
  • A pass in Section A and Section B of the Associate Membership Examination in Mechanical Engineering branch from Institution of Engineers (India)
  • Ten years’ professional experience in Industrial Installation or engineering workshop (including at least two years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering in direct relation to plant and equipment used in mining).

2. Assistant Editor (Telugu)

Educational Qualification

  • Degree of a recognized University
  • Degree or Diploma in Librarianship of a recognizedUniversity or Institution
  • Proficiency in Telugu language
  • About five years’ practical experience in a responsible capacity in a library of standing.

3. Photographic Officer

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate Degree
  • Two years’ experience in various branches of photography, including experience in Press Photography in an organisation in the field of Print or Audio-Visual Media

4. Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology)

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry/AIC by examination/Biochemistry/Pharmacology/Pharmacy/Forensic Science and
  • Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized University or Institute
  • Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Toxicology in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

5. Technical Officer (Public Health Engineering)

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Public Health Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or
  • Passed Section A and B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil Engineering.
  • Post Graduate degree in Public Health Engineering or Environmental Engineering from a recognized University or Institute

6. Driller-in-Charge

  • Degree in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering
  • One year experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs; OR
  • Diploma in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical /Petroleum Engineering
  • Five years experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs

7. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics)

  • Degree in Telecommunications/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • Two years experience in supervisory capacity in the field of radio aids to navigation.

8. System Analyst

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc. Computer Science or M.Sc. Information Technology-OR
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology
  • Three years post qualification experience in actual software development using PHP or JAVA or ASP.Net +
  • Experience in database such as MYSQL or SQL or ORACLE or POSTGRES data base in a Government Office or from any recognized Institution

9. Senior Lecturer (General Medicine)

  • A basic Medical Degree
  • M.D.( Medicine)/ M.D.( General Medicine)
  • Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor

10. Senior Lecturer (General Surgery)

  • A basic Medical Degree
  • M.S.( Surgery)/ M.S.( General Surgery)
  • Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor

11. Senior Lecturer (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases)

  1. A basic Medical Degree
  2. M.D.(Tuberculosis)/ M.D.(T.B. and Respiratory Diseases)/ M.D. (Medicine) with T.D.D., D.T.D., or D.T.C.D./ M.D.(T.B. and chest Diseases)
  3. Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor

Note:

  • Qualification must be from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent
  • Experience must be from a Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous organization or from any recognized Institution

The selected candidates will be placed in Payscale level as given below
